Girls room with blue vibes & an aquarium
How to fit aquarium to the deco? I really don't know yet. Our fishes are having a winter vacation indoors. They have their normal resident in the garden pond during the summer. If you have any ideas how to incorporate aquarium in interior design, let me know.
But to the girls room deco.
We still have a frozen theme going on in my daughters room, although I think the "Elsa" phase is going away soon. But before that, let's have sun fun with it!
One thing I always wanted when I was a kid was a princess canopy (and 100 meters of rope - for the Tarzan-route in the trees of course, you silly things!). Although I wasn't very princess-like as a kid - (more like a karate kid type of a child), I envied my friends with pink rooms and princess beds. Have to admit, me and my daughter still do like some princess things, with moderate dozes. And now it seems, that my boy also - since he wants that canopy also!
This is what we came up this weekend.
A bit of rearranging the art work and the canopy from jollyroom.fi. It makes the perfect hideaway or reading corner for her - I'd like it if I was a kid, hope she does too.
We also cleaned the desk and found about 100 year old drawer from the flea market to act as a Smallville-house stand, quite like it. Very useful peace of furniture, said the man in the flea market and I believed him. Think I'm gonna paint it Frozen blue.

| There are the fishes: Milli, Molli & Väri. I'll try to find a more suitable place for them. But for now, they can swim in their world - cleaning the tank was a shock enough for the time being. |
